Our goal is to improve your firearm shooting skill at Frontier Firearms, regardless of your current level. No matter how you shoot now, we’ll make you better, guaranteed! We serve armed professionals and responsible citizens with a comprehensive range of courses, from foundational skills to advanced tactics.
Our Instructors
Our instructors have diverse backgrounds in law enforcement, military, competition, and private industry. They are all passionate about helping students become more effective shooters. Each of our instructors has extensive training and real-world experience offering practical methodologies and approaches to instruction based on proven fundamentals and drills. Our instructors' abilities and training go beyond state certifications. Each is more than capable of delivering effective instruction in ways "civilians" understand and can master. Indeed, our instructors are motivated to teach because they want to help students develop the defensive skills necessary for survival in today's society.
Beginner and Review Classes
LADIES FIRST HANDGUN CLASS It may be a dog-eat-dog world, but after taking this class, you’ll be better equipped to avoid being eaten! There is no need to be afraid of handguns, and this course will teach you why. This fun class takes place in the classroom and firing range, where you will learn the different types of guns, firearm safety, and how to hold, load, aim, shoot, and unload a handgun. Has it been a while since you fired a handgun? Do you want to brush up on old skills? Are you a beginner or want your son or daughter to learn handgun skills and safety? If so, take our COED HANDGUN CLASS. Learn safe gun handling and basic marksmanship. Maximize your ability to deliver accurate hits. Upon completion of the handgun fundamentals, you will have a good foundation in the fundamentals of handgun safety and marksmanship, and you will be ready for more in-depth training.

You've taken the first step - you've a handgun and a Carry Permit. Now, it's time to advance your shooting skills and improve your self-defense preparedness. At Frontier Firearms, we help prepare you for daily carry and against the unfortunate confrontation that may require the use of deadly force. Perhaps you just completed an introductory pistol class, recently acquired your carry permit, or, like many others, are lifelong shooters but have never experienced professional firearms instruction and want to develop your self-defense and combat pistol skills. Private Gun Training
Private classes are available for individuals, couples, or whole families. Group instruction too. Instruction can be for handguns, rifles, and shotguns. All course levels can be taught personally or as a group session. Please call 865-376-0793 to set up an appointment with an instructor.
